Glycolic

1)Chemical cleaning
Glycolic
acid 70% solution is mainly used as a cleaning agent,the
mixture of 2% Glycolic acid and 1% Formic acid is
an effective and low-cost cleaning agent used in the
cleaning of air conditioner, boiler, electric plant
pipe, steel etc.
2)Biodegradation materials
Glycolic
acid can be biodegraded and has good bio-compatibility.
It can be biodegraded into carbon dioxide and water
which will be discharged out of the body. Therefore,
it is widely used to produce in-body drug, in-body
repairing appliance etc.
3)Bactericide
It
has strong inhibiting effect on thio ferrooxidans.
It can be used as bactericide as well as inhibitor
in the ore flotation.
4)Daily-use chemical
Glycolic
acid is an effective medicine to get rid of fine hair,
dead skin and wrinkle etc. It can prevent the aging
of skin. So it is widely used in skin care area.
5)Others
Glycolic
acid 98% crystal is used in the synthesis of cosmetic,petrol
emulsion breaker,,solder, it can also improve the
quality of nickel plating.
Glycolic
acid 's sodium salt and sylvinite can be used as additive
of electroplating liquid ,it can be also used in acid
cleaning of metal, leather dyeing etc.
